Aionex Opens Headquarters in Thailand Ready to Start Manufacturing and Distributing Electric Motorcycles and Battery Swapping Services Mid-Year

Together with Mr. Cherdchai Boonchoochuay (Left), Chairman of Aionex and Senior Executive Vice President, Innovation and New Ventures of PTT Public Company Limited, Mr. Ekachai Yimsakul (Right), Director of Aionex and Managing Director of Arun Plus Company Limited (Arun Plus) and Mr. Gary Ting (Center), Chief Executive Officer of Aionex. This event took place at Palangthai Room 2, PTT Headquarter in Bangkok. Aionex is a company established by Arun Plus, Kwang Yang Motor Company Limited (KYMCO) and KYMCO CAPITAL PRIVATE EQUITY MANAGEMENT Company Limited or KC (a subsidiary under KYMCO) to manufacture and distribute KYMCO electric motorcycles and provide battery swapping stations for electric motorcycles under the intelligent "Ionex" operating system platform in Thailand within this year, aiming to strengthen the electric motorcycle ecosystem and become a leading exporter of electric motorcycle technology to the ASEAN region.

March 26th, 2024 – Mr. Ekachai Yimsakul (4th, right), Managing Director, Arun Plus Company Limited (Arun Plus), and Dr. Sunhavut Thamchuanviriya (3rd, right), Group Chief Executive Officer - Millennium Group Corporation (ASIA) Public Company Limited (MGC-ASIA), representing Ze Mobility Plus Company Limited (Ze Mobility Plus) to receive dealership rights, the very first ZEEKR Brand official dealer in Thailand, from Mr. Alex Bao (3rd, left), Head of ZEEKR Southeast Asia Market – ZEEKR Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (ZEEKR). Neo Mobility Asia becomes XPENG's sole importer and distributor in Thailand, the first in ASEAN; Ready for the official launch at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show
Recently – Mr. Ekachai Yimsakul (Right), Managing Director of Arun Plus Company Limited, and Dr. Sunhavut Thamchuanviriya (Center), Group Chief Executive Officer of Millennium Group Corporation (Asia) Public Company Limited (MGC-ASIA), representing Neo Mobility Asia Company Limited (Neo Mobility Asia), a joint venture between Arun Plus Group and MGC-ASIA Group, officially received distribution rights as the sole importer and distributor of XPENG electric vehicles in Thailand from Mr. James Wu, Vice President of Finance & Strategic Office for SEA at XPENG Motors Headquarters, China.
XPENG’s appointment marks a significant milestone for Neo Mobility Asia and Thailand as the introduction of XPENG, China's leading smart electric vehicle brand, to the Thai consumers will be the first before any other countries in ASEAN. XPENG’s cutting-edge driving innovations and product line-up unveiling is scheduled to take place at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show from March 27th to April 7th 2024, at Booth A5, Hall 1- 3 Impact Muang Thong Thani.
