AIONEX Company Limited (AIONEX) is a joint venture between Arun Plus, Kwang Yang Motor Company Limited (KYMCO), and KYMCO CAPITAL PRIVATE EQUITY MANAGEMENT Company Limited (KC, a subsidiary owned by KYMCO) to sell and service fully integrated electric motorcycles under the brand KYMCO, a world-class international brand with sales in 100 countries, number 1 in Taiwan, number 3 in Europe and South Africa that stands out in both design and driving innovations that are designed to meet the needs of drivers in every target group.

KYMCO is a motorcycle manufacturer with more than 60 years of experience in the motorcycle business and has a variety of electric motorcycle products that meet the needs of every target group. With electric motor power ranging from 0.8 to 8.3 kilowatts, it can create more driving enjoyment and a wider range of uses and is also more environmentally friendly.

Electric motorcycles are a modern driving innovation that Arun Plus sees as being able to make a difference in the motorcycle market in Thailand. Therefore, we have collaborated with KYMCO Group, a world-class manufacturer of motorcycle brands, which has electric motorcycles that are designed to meet both the behavior of current Thai drivers and help reduce environmental impacts at the same time. Moreover, KYMCO's motorcycles are State Of Art and stand out because their design is based on combustion engine motorcycles, so they can provide continuous maintenance services through the network of maintenance points of the PTT Group and its partners.

AIONEX also plans to install 300 battery swapping stations for ionex electric motorcycles by 2025, both inside and outside the area around PTT gas stations, where riders will have the experience of using battery swapping services without having to wait for charging because it only takes a few seconds to switch batteries. This service comes with a Smart Application that facilitates drivers in finding and accessing battery swap stations so that Thai people can experience the same modern driving innovations sold in many countries worldwide.

AIONEX will pass on technological knowledge from KYMCO to consumers and entrepreneurs within the country and will research to develop new driving technologies as part of helping to raise the level of Thailand's potential and knowledge. It will focus on selecting parts and spare parts produced by domestic entrepreneurs to create a stable and full supply chain for the electric motorcycle business comparable to the international level. These are the intentions of Arun Plus and KYMCO Group, which want to push Thailand to be a center for the production and distribution of electric motorcycles in ASEAN in the future.
